Imagine me, rushing around on a busy morning, needing to get approximately 28438295320235 things done before I leave for recess duty at noon. This seems to be my life every day, just insert something different for “recess duty at noon.” Always rushing to get something done before I have to leave to go somewhere.

I realize that this struggle is not unique to me, but this was the case for me the day I was photographing this recipe. Running up and down the stairs, setting up the scene in my studio, putting the finishing touches on the recipe, music loud on Alexa, trying to get it all done.

I finish with just enough time to shower and get myself to the kids school in time.

But now imagine me, sitting on the floor of my studio, eating bite after bite of this Baked Brie recipe. IT IS SO GOOD. I can’t wait to make this time and time again for guests. I may have even had a sip of the champagne I used to style the photo. Only one, though, I pinky swear!

I did make it to school in time (showered, too!), and every single bite of this Brie was worth the rush that ensued afterwards.

I love living in the day and age that we live in because there are constantly things being developed and invented to make our busy lives easier and more streamlined. I’m partnering with SpartanNash this year, and when they asked my to try out their new app, I eagerly agreed. It’s called “Check Out Now” and you can find it by searching “Check Out Now” or “SpartanNash Check Out Now” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store

You can add your Loyalty ID so you can use any coupons you’ve digitally clipped, plus get all those great extra savings.

Check Out Now App

The basic premise of the app is that it allows you to scan items as you place them in your cart. The two things I was immediately impressed with were how user friendly it was and how quickly and consistently the barcode scanner works. If you’re a budgeter (wish I was better about that!), it will be insanely useful for you because it give you a nearly exact idea of how much you’ve spent so far. You’ll have to weigh any produce or bulk items at the pay station, but other than that, you’ll be able to see the total of the items in your cart. It’s also very easy to remove items if you scan something by accident or change your mind about an item.

Check Out Now App

Right now it’s a pilot program available at participating locations, but if one of those locations are near you, you should definitely give this cool app a try!

Tip: If you want to try out Check Out Now, bring your own reusable bags so you can bag as you go to make it even faster!

I quickly and easily purchased all the items for this recipe, including Our Family Whole Cranberry Sauce and Full Circle Organic Snack Crackers for dipping into the baked Brie. The staff at my Family Fare were super helpful and were able to answer any questions I had.

About this Baked Brie Recipe

Okay guys, seriously. We need to talk about how good this is. I’m counting down the time until I make this again. The creamy, rich Brie….the sweet syrupy cranberry sauce, and then the BOURBON GLAZED PECANS?! It’s holiday perfection and looks so fancy but it’s ridiculously easy to make. Those are my favorite kind of recipes, the ones that look fancy but are deceptively easy to make.
