These fun pepperoni pizza tortilla pinwheels make a great appetizer or school lunch. Your kids will think they have hit the jackpot when they open their lunchbox and see these!

About these pizza tortilla pinwheels
Lunchbox ready: Tortilla pinwheels like these or my southwestern cream cheese roll ups make a great lunchbox addition. The nice thing about them is that you can make them in advance and slice off what you need as you’re prepping lunches. And you can serve them with dipping sauces, and what kid doesn’t love that? I served these with pizza sauce which seems like an obvious choice.
Great for entertaining, too: If you’re like me, when you’re prepping for a party, you’re always looking for ways to prepare things in advance. These are better if you make them a day in advance and then all you have to do is slice and serve!
Versatile: You can make these vegetarian by omiting the pepperoni. They’ll still have loads of great pizza flavor, especially if you serve them with pizza sauce. You can add different pizza “toppings,” but you have to be careful they don’t have too high of a moisture content. Finely chopped vegetables will work well, as long as you don’t add too many. Cooked ham is a great choice too – deli sliced ham works best here.
Storage
These will keep for 2-3 days in the fridge. Any longer and the tortilla will likely become a little soggy.

Can you heat these before serving? The melted cheese would be delicious any thoughts?
I’m not sure the filling would stay put, it might just run out. Let me know if you give it a try, though!
Looks delicious!
Thank you!
I made these for my son’s high school class and they were very good. Can’t believe how easy and good these are!
So glad you liked them! Thank you for taking the time to let me know. :)
Can’t wait to try these!!
I hope you love them! Great for lunch boxes. :)
so fun! i made my husband a pepperoni pizza wrap for lunch yesterday, but he’d love these way more!
Thanks Sarah! Hope you (and him!) love these.
This is genius Rachel! I’m all in back to school lunch mode too, these look like they fit the bill: easy, tasty, and even make-ahead. You could probably freeze them right? Or would that make the cream cheese weird. hmmmm I’ll have to try it out! :)
I haven’t tried freezing them but I bet it would work!
easy and tasty
Thanks Denise!
What a fun little lunch idea! I’m always looking for new ideas for Lucy’s lunch — she’s a picky eater. This is perfect!!
So is N – it’s SO hard! Thankfully I don’t have to pack him lunches yet. Between allergies and pickiness, it’s an adventure.
Please feel free to pack my lunch any day!!! xo
Mwah! Come be my neighbor?
