Smoky Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Flavorful smoky Brussels sprouts with thinly sliced shallots and smoked paprika make a delicious and simple side dish.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, stems removed, trimmed, and cut in half
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves (can substitute ¼ teaspoon dry thyme)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil, Brussels sprouts, and season with salt and pepper. Add water, stir, and cover skillet. Cook for 3 minutes, covered.1 lb.
