Ingredients

handfuls of kale (or about 3 loosely packed cups)

whole apple, cored and cut into large chunks
1
stalk of celery, cut into large chunks
1/2
English cucumber, cut into large chunks
juice from 1/2 a lime
1
cup
loosely packed parsley or about 1 handful
1
cup
water
ice
Instructions
Blend all ingredients except ice in a blender (I use a Blendtec). Blend well on high speed, at least a minute, up to 2 minutes depending on blender.
Push through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp, if desired. Serve with ice.
