11 Salads in a Jar Recipes on

Salads in a jar are all the rage lately — for a number of reasons.

  1. They are adorable. (Okay most people probably don’t care about this but I think they are cute.)
  2. They are portable. Perfect for school lunches, work lunches, and best of all, picnics. (I’m in the freezing cold weather and dreaming of picnics.)
  3. They keep your greens crisp. By putting the dressing in the bottom of the jar with sturdy vegetables or beans, you don’t have to worry about soggy greens. But yet you don’t have to pack your dressing in a separate container.
  4. There are a million different ways to do them. Here in this post I’m giving you 11 great options, but the options are endless really.

Okay, so, now there’s 13. I’ll keep adding to the list as I find new recipes to love!
