Searching for a last minute goodie for your cookie plate? This cookies and cream fudge is ridiculously easy and so very festive!

I’m sure you’re knee-deep in flour, sugar and chocolate, baking all sorts of goodies for the season. I know I’ll be making lots of these sugar cookies and decorating them. Another cookie recipe I make every holiday is cream cheese spritz cookies.

Maybe a new party just popped up and you need a quick and easy treat to bring.

Look no further! I have a super easy fudge recipe for you. No thermometers involved in making this cookies and cream fudge. It is easy. E-A-S-Y.

I found these great Oreos and bought them, knowing that I would bake with them–just not knowing what I would bake with them. But how could I pass them up? You could easily make this with regular Oreos too, for a more classic look.

Package of winter Oreo cookies.

This is an easy white chocolate fudge. The red filling of the holiday Oreo cookies mixes in with the fudge and makes cookies and cream fudge so extremely festive. I just love the way it looks and, of course, it tastes great too!

About this cookies and cream fudge

You can make cookies and cream fudge in about 15 minutes. No special equipment needed, just a large saucepan, a 8-9 inch square pan, and a stove.

Start by preparing the square pan. I like to line it with parchment paper so I can lift the fudge right out of the pan to cut it into nice even squares.

Chop up a bunch of Oreo cookies. You’ll need about 3 cups full. You can do this in a food processor or put a bunch in a zip top bag and pound it gently to crack the cookies. Don’t pulverize them to a pulp, you want to have some nice chunks, too.

Next melt white chocolate chips in a saucepan with a can of sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring frequently, until the chips are completely melted. Stir in vanilla extract, and then add three cups of chopped Oreo cookies. Stir until combined and pour into the prepared pan.

Sprinkle the top with more white chocolate chips, and some semi-sweet chips, too. Press them in lightly so they’ll stick.

Put the pan in the fridge, or freezer (if you’re in a hurry), to chill thoroughly. The fudge will firm up as it cools.

Using the edges of the parchment paper, lift the fudge out of the pan and set it on a hard surface. Cut into small squares and enjoy!

So easy and delicious!

Searching for a last minute goodie for your cookie plate? This cookies and cream fudge is ridiculously easy and so very festive!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups white chocolate chips, divided
  • one can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups roughly chopped winter Oreo cookies
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Line a 8 or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper or foil. Leave one or two inches of paper sticking out of the pan.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt 2 1/4 cups of the white chocolate chips (reserve 1/4 cup) with the sweetened condensed milk. Stir frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning.
  • Once the chips are melted and the mixture is combined, stir in the vanilla extract. Add the chopped Oreos and stir until combined.
  • Spread into prepared pan and sprinkle with reserved white chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Press them in lightly so they will stick.
  • Chill fudge in the freezer for two hours or more until it is fully firmed up. Lift fudge out of the pan by gripping the edges of the parchment paper. Slice (might want to make them small–they are rich!) and serve at room temperature. Store in fridge or freezer.

Notes

  • Use any variety of Oreo cookies.

Verdict: Delicious! I’m storing this cookies and cream fudge in the freezer to send to work my husband for a Christmas party, so I don’t eat all myself.
Husband’s take: “I could live on that stuff.” He says that a lot.
Changes I would make: None! It would be fun to play with different colored Oreos as they appear during the year though!
Difficulty: Easy. Duh….have you been listening?

What is your favorite kind of fudge? Have you ever made no-bake fudge like this? It’s SO easy!

I just made these and after freezing them for a few hours I set them on the counter for an hour to bring them to room temp. The consistency came out too gooey, not firm. Any recommendations to reach the right consistency? Thanks!

Hmm, I’ve never had that problem. Is it possible you measured something wrong?

What a great recipe! I made Chocolate Mint Candy Cane Fudge earlier this month that had a pretty much identical base to this fudge. It is so nice (and so bad, for my waistline anyway haha) that fudge like this is so easy to make! First time on your site, and I really love it :)

Love your photos! I have to say that when you mentioned these, they didn’t sound that good to me. You know me, not much of a sweet tooth. When I saw your finished product, though, I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to resist a nibble. Or maybe two nibbles. Maybe you’ll still have a couple in the freezer when we come to visit :)

Ooh how festive. I don’t think they’ll be selling those down here in Australia but I guess I could add a little red food colouring. Maybe a marbled effect would be nice. Yum!
