Blood Orange and Chocolate Yogurt Popsicles
Blood orange and chocolate yogurt popsicles are a treat that you can feel good about eating. Plus they taste great and are unbelievably refreshing.
I’m so excited to be taking part in Frozen Treat Week this week with our lovely hosts Nutmeg Nanny and Katie’s Cucina. You’ll see tons of fun frozen treats: ice cream, shakes, ice pops, maybe some granitas,
Lots of ice pops (aka popsicles) here on Rachel Cooks because I’m obsessed. Have you seen my funfetti pudding pops? Obsessed. Or perhaps Andes mint pudding pops? Or how about a soda fountain favorite, root beer float popsicles?
Popsicles are quick to make and delicious to eat. Perfect for busy moms! Your kids will love them too. Summer on a stick! What could be better?
Blood orange and chocolate yogurt popsicles are made with one 6 ounce container of Chobani yogurt (they aren’t paying me for this!) and mini chocolate chips. That’s it! The recipe makes one popsicle (depending on the size of the mold), but you could easily double or triple it to make more popsicles.
The best part of this recipe is that you could customize it using whatever type of yogurt you like. There are so many yogurt flavors to choose from. Coconut chocolate would be amazing. Cherry chocolate? Yes! Strawberry would be like a frozen chocolate covered strawberry. Fun and tasty and not too bad for the waistline!
PS: These are the popsicle molds I use.
More frozen treats!

Husband’s take (we shared): He liked it. Being the traditionalist that he is, he’d probably choose a plain chocolate popsicle over this one, but he wasn’t complaining.
Changes I would make: None are necessary but it will be fun to try out different flavors of yogurt.
Difficulty: Easy!

The blood orange flavor is so delicious! I can imagine made into a frozen treat, it is even better!
I love that this recipe is so simple and customizable. Plus the fact that it makes one popsicle is awesome! Sometimes recipes just make way too much for our house of two.
I love watching my kids eat popsicles. They will bite into them and grimace (because you know they’re crazy cold), but then plaster on a huge smile and go for the next bite. Will have to whip these up for them (and me!).
I love that this makes just one popsicle because sometimes thats all you need. :D
Aw, so many gorgeous frozen treats! It’s torture for us in the southern hemisphere who are freezing our butts off in the winter cold! :) Love this recipe though. Orange and chocolate is one of my favourite combinations, and in a frozen treat? Warm weather heaven. Thanks! xx

This frozen treat week is so brilliant! I really need to get one of those molds and join the party. Plus, love the combo of chocolate and blood orange!
You definitely NEED popsicle molds!
Chocolate and orange is one of my all-time favourite flavour combinations. I could eat so many of these it’d probably be indecent!
Totally! But it only makes one at a time and it’s yogurt so it’s healthy! ;)
I love how easy these are! I just got my first set of popsicle molds and this is an excellent recipe to try!
