A simple and delicious treat perfect for game night entertaining, these Banana and Chocolate Pudding Dessert Bites will quickly become a go-to recipe.

I’m willing to bet 80% of you have a can of whipped topping sitting in their fridge. Perfect for the occasional cup of hot cocoa, or to top off a milkshake, or just to squirt right into your mouth! The whipped topping is the crowning glory of this fun and easy recipe. I know I say all my recipes are easy, but this one really, really, really is.
Ready for this? Hold on to your hats, I’m about to take you through a culinary masterpiece.
Pull some phyllo cups out of the freezer. (If you’re not keeping a stock of these in your freezer, you’re doing something wrong.)
Chop up some bananas and throw them into the bottoms of the phyllo cups.
Spoon some dark fudge pudding over top of the bananas.
Take three pictures of it.
Be indecisive and keep all the photos.
Then, grab your REAL® Dairy Whipped Topping, make it pretty….
….and enjoy! Incredibly simple but these banana and chocolate pudding dessert bites will seriously become a go-to for parties. Chances are, you have all the ingredients on hand (or easily could). All I had to do was browse through my pantry to come up with this fun idea.
If you keep your eye out for the REAL® Seal when you’re shopping for your whipped topping, you’ll know that what you’re buying comes entirely from US-produced cow’s milk. You’ll see the REAL® seal on other dairy products too, including sour cream, butter, cheese and more.
You’re going to need those things for all those fun party appetizers and dips. I’m sure there is a basketball game on or something, right? Invite some friends over, make these chocolate pudding dessert bites, some ooey gooey dips, and party on! These little treats will be a SLAM DUNK.
Too much?
Oh well.

Okay I have to admit—and in writing no less—that I don’t have a supply of phyllo in my freezer. In the past I haven’t made my peace with using it. However I am getting the message if I follow your site you will hold my hand or push and pull me to quit being such a weenie—–to put on my big girl panties and just practice. This looks like a simple and delicious incentive to dive in and try.

I have some shells in my freezer now! Question-do you bake your shells at all before you use them? The last time I use them for my Lemon Curd Tarts they were a little chewy. Any suggestions?
Rachel Gurk says
Nope! They are pre-baked. Did your lemon curd sit in them for a little while? I find they get soggy if not served immediately.
Liz@Virtually Homemade says
Oooh these look yummy and simple. Do you not have to bake the phyllo cups? That would be a bonus.

How did you know about the can of whipped cream (or two) that I have on hand at ALL TIMES. It’s A guilty pleasure about which I don’t feel at all guilty. These little treats are brilliant, and I want to pop every single one of them into my mouth (right after I added extra whipped cream, naturally.)
