Happy Mother’s Day!
I just wanted to write a quick post saying Happy Mother’s Day to all the great moms and moms-to-be that read this! I never realized how much this day meant until I became a mother myself. We drove by a cemetery today and it made me really think about the people who no longer have their mothers on this earth to celebrate with. I pray for each of you and hope that God brings you peace and happiness today. Wanted to write a quick tribute to some of the great moms in my life:
I have been blessed with a beautiful, caring, kind, loving, Christian mother who has taught me so much about so many things.
Then I was blessed again when I married my husband. I have the best mother-in-law a girl could ask for!
I also have a wonderful grandma, and my hubby’s kind grandmother.
I have fond memories of yet another terrific grandmother.
I have an awesome older sister, who has also become an exceptional mom (24 hours and 35 minutes before I became a mom!)
I have a caring, supportive husband who truly understands and appreciates (and tells me so everyday) what I do as a stay at home mom. He got me gorgeous flowers in addition to a camera! He definitely went above and beyond!
I have my daughter’s beautiful face to look at every day, and with each smile and every giggle, all the sacrifices I make for her seem like nothing at all.
How do you celebrate Mother’s Day? Do you cook a huge spread or take the day off from cooking?
I’ll have a recipe for you next time, I promise!

What a sweet post! And I'm so glad you have such an amazing husband that appreciates what you do- I feel like there aren't enough of those quality guys out there!
Love your little ones.. just precious!
This is a beautiful post and a wonderful tribute to your mother and all those you love. I enjoy reading posts like this; my mother passed when I was 16 but her memories will always be cherished. Your baby is adorable!
Great post! Hope you had a great Mother's Day! Your little one is sooo sweet!
Thanks for this recipe of love – the food can come later. Ben took me to Applebees today so I did not have to cook. What a wonderful day.
