Rachel Cooks

these are a few of my favorite things {giveaway}

I know we’ve been seeing lots of giveaways here lately but I’m extra excited for this one. I’ve teamed up with 11 other bloggers to provide a “blog-hop” of sorts with 12 total giveaways. We each chose a few of our favorite things to give away. Each prize is unique as the bloggers putting them together. I’m so thrilled to bring one of you a bunch of the things that make me smile on a nearly daily basis.

This is a glimpse of all the things up for grabs here! To enter, you’ll have to follow the links below to the giveaways that interest you and follow the directions on their site to enter the giveaway. To enter mine, scroll down and you’ll see a widget you can use.

Okay so before you go enter in the other 11 (or after you do), make sure to check out what I included in mine! All the things I cannot live without.

Vanilla Beans

My love for vanilla is no secret around these parts. I’m a little obsessed with the sweet luxury that vanilla adds to each recipe it graces. The little flecks of black clue you in that what you’re about to eat is going to be sweet, fragrant and delicious. I’ve used vanilla beans in a thousand recipes (okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration?), here are a few of my favorites:

See? I wasn’t kidding. Included in my package of my favorite things will be 25 Madagascar Vanilla Beans from my favorite (only) place to buy them, Beanilla.

I don’t think it’s really necessary to explain this one. I could eat popcorn on a daily basis and sometimes I do. A big bowl of buttery, salty popcorn + a full DVR = a happy Rachel. Included in my favorite things is a package of Amish Popcorn. It includes 3 different varieties. 3 pounds total! It will last me about a week, a normal person, maybe a year. Okay, that’s not normal in my book. Maybe a month?

Need some recipes? Try:

Colorful Sprinkles

I have way too many sprinkles, but yet I can’t resist buying more when I see a fun new shape or color. Sprinkles make everything better. They were a must have in my box of favorite things. Included are these versatile Wilton sprinkles.

O’Keefe’s Working Hands

I have long, long, long searched for the perfect hand cream. This cream is far from glamorous (far, far, far…) but it works. And it works well. And it doesn’t leave your hands greasy which is hugely important when you’re only seconds away from entering the kitchen again or picking up your expensive camera. Yes, it is made for contractors, carpenters and probably plumbers. But I don’t care. I’ve never claimed to be dainty.

TheFlavorBible3DCover (2)

The Flavor Bible

I’ve gushed about The Flavor Bible over and over so it was only natural that it be included in a giveaway of my favorite things. You can follow that link if you want to learn more about the book or you can follow this link to see it on Amazon. Or you can enter to win it (duh).

A few surprises

Baker’s twine in a whole bunch of colors to make things pretty and some paper straws to make your drinks festive. I’m not good at surprises.

Use the widget below to enter. It might take a minute to load, but if it’s not showing up, follow the link to enter the giveaway that way. All comments left on Rachel Cooks will be moderated in 24-48 hours. Giveaway open to individuals over the age of 18 in the United States only. All items in prize package were purchased with my own money because I want to share some of my favorite things. Good luck!
