Green Giant Veggie Chips
One thing I often crave is a salty snack. This is proven by my love for popcorn, but I don’t discriminate, I love chips too! If you place a chip in front of me that you say I can feel good about eating, I’m going to be all ears. Green Giant came out with a new line of chips — veggie chips! Green Giant obviously knows what they are doing in regards to vegetables, so I was very interested in trying these chips. They come in two varieties:
- Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Zesty Cheddar Flavor are made with real vegetables, 17 grams of whole grain per serving (48g are recommended daily), and are naturally flavored.
- Green Giant™ Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Sea Salt Flavor are made with real sweet potatoes and made with 14 grams of whole grain. Plus, they contains 40 percent less fat than regular potato chips!
I loved both varieties, but the Zesty Cheddar Roasted Veggie chips were my favorite. If you like another chip that looks familiar to these chips (you know what kind I’m talking about), you’ll love these chips…and they are way better for you. Win-win! Lots of whole grains and made with real vegetables. They have a great cheddar taste (they weren’t stingy!), and a terrific crunch from the whole grains. They are more than addicting.
The sweet potato chips, pictured above, were terrific as well. Very thin and crispy. Other brands of sweet potato chips tend to be kind of thick and really hard. These chips don’t feel like they are going to chip one of your teeth. They are wonderfully light and airy but still very satisfying with a good taste of sweet potato, fantastic texture from the whole grains and just the right amount of salt.
Green Giant has launched a new campaign centered around surprises, like this chips. But specifically, surprise talents. Check out the surprise talents (video) the Green Giant has unearthed.
Do you have a surprise talent? I’m sure you do. What is it?!?! Please share. I can fold my tongue over and make it stick. It’s totally weird and no I’m not going to share a photo and definitely not a video. It’s definitely not as cool as jump-roping on an exercise ball (It’s in the video! Totally nuts.) If you’re more brave than I am, you can show the Giant your surprise talent. And if you’re curious about other people, you can see even more of the Giant’s favorite surprise talents at the Green Giant YouTube channel.
Thank you to The Green Giant™ for being a sponsor. Show the Giant your surprise talent at www.facebook.com/greengiant. All opinions are, as always, my own. I wouldn’t share a product with you unless I would buy it for my own use or consumption.
