I have had ants in my pants for MONTHS about this giveaway! Have you heard all the buzz about KitchenAid’s new color collection called the Catalina Collection? One lucky winner will receive an Artisan stand mixer in the most beautiful blue color called Crystal Blue.

Hi Rachel: I have been following you on facebook for a long time and am so impressed at how your blog has grown in popularity. If I should win the Kitchen Aid Mixer the first thing I would make is a Banana Cake. That is the favorite cake of my grandson, Ben, who I have been making cakes for for the past 25 years. What an awesome giveaway! I love this Crystal Blue Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. It’s simply gorgeous! The first thing I’ll make with this brand new mixer would be a birthday cake for my Parents. Their birthdays are coming up in August and they are just a few days apart. We always celebrate them together. It’s going to be a nice layer cake with fresh fruit and cream between the layers and frosted with buttercream. I can’t wait.

Cinnamon buns! I would give the dough hook a real work out and after the cinnamon buns, make bread and many other doughy things, all washed down with a freshly squeezed juice. I can’t wait to make ANYTHING since my mom’s mixer (purchased in 1974) just stopped working!!! I’ve been wanting to make this chocolate cake a friend of mine made that is gluten free and actually has vegetables in in, sweetened with agave! It is SO moist and rich!

I would make my daughter whatever she wanted and then proceed to give her the mixer along with the baked goods. She just moved out with a couple of friends and she really really really wants a kitchen aid mixer. She loved using the cobalt blue one we had for years at home and misses it so much now that she is out on her own. I bought her a hand mixer for now but its just not the same as the amazing stand mixer that you get with a kitchen aid .

the first thing I would make is french cakes. My grandmother who used a kitchenAid used to make them all the time. I love them but they are so bad for you…a whole lb of butter is used to make them..LOL…

Because the way the winner is chosen is a random integer chooser… it will just randomly choose a number between say… 1 and 1000 if there ends up being a 1000 posts. Whoever is chosen, is the winner. Doing all 17 things, one comment for each, gives you 17 chances for your number to be picked.

Ooh, Ooh, ooh…Today’s my birthday.
