I hope you all had a very very happy Independence Day full of food, family/friends, and fun!

Today we have a very fun giveaway from King Arthur Flour! They have everything you need for a fun day of pancake making! From flour (gluten-free, too!), to bowls, to maple syrup. They even have a section on their website full of pancake (and waffle) recipes. I’m personally eyeing the Cinnamon-Streusel Pancakes, they sound like such a delicious treat.

My generous friends at King Arthur Flour agreed to come to our pancake party!

As of lately I have been baking with the White Whole Wheat Flour. I also go through a lot of bags of their Bread Flour for pizza dough. We make pizza about once a week at home and always use the bread flour because of the high gluten content.

I normally use a blend of all-purpose ultragrain flour, and whole wheat. Although, I’m finishing my 1st week of a gluten free diet, so I’ve tried GF all purpose, and will try brown rice flour today. The rest of my family isn’t GF though, so I still bake with my usual blend for them :-)

I generally just use plain ole white flour, not the self-rising kind, though

I use mostly all purpose. Have been wanting to try white wheat, maybe when the heat wave passes I’ll get back to baking. Hot kitchens are not fun in the summer.
