I’m getting old. And if I keep doing recipe round-ups involving cake and ice cream, I’ll also be getting fat(ter).
Eh, life happens.
So (as you might have figured out from the title) today is my birthday, and instead of making or eating cake, I’m just drooling over the amazingness on the internet. Since people seemed to enjoy my last round-up, I figured I would go for it again.
I decided to do a massive cake round-up. I browsed some of my favorite blogs…and things got a little out of hand. There are so many amazing cakes and cake goodies on nearly every blog. Enjoy, and tell me what your favorite is! I can’t wait to make my daughter her first cake to dig into on her first birthday. I’m sure there will be a few pictures of that floating around. So without further ado, enjoy! Sorry about the picture-heavy post, but it is worth it!
Okay, I really need to stop. My husband and daughter are being neglected because of this post. (Not really, they always come first.) Honestly though, I could keep at this for days. And days. And days. There are so many amazing cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes and cake pops out there. Please check out some of these blogs, but while you’re on their site, browse their other amazing creations. Especially (but not limited to) How Sweet It Is, Sweetapolita, Bakerella, My Baking Addiction, and Sugar Plum. These ladies have serious baking skills and creativity. It is amazing!
And while you’re at it, eat a slice for me!
What’s your favorite kind of cake? Do you have any fun memories centered around cake?
